In most companies, knowledge management has focused almost exclusively upon the packaging of existing knowledge. How companies lever these assets to best effect determines how successful they will be in the future. Having an asset, any asset, is no good unless you know how to use it. A factory full of machines is worth nothing if it is idle.

The same is true of intellectual capital. So to succeed, you must maximize the potential o f all your intellectual property or capital rights. Use combinations of emerging technologies to network people, organizations and relevant sources of information, knowledge and support tools together.

So, to all members of PUMM, I would like to urge them to collaborate with others and work and learn in new ways in order to create and deliver greater value.
